We continue to offer a fully contactless, 24 hour check in and check out service for all guests staying with us. 

Our restaurant opening hours from 02.12.2020 are as follows:

Mon-Fri: 6pm – 11pm (last orders 10pm) 

Sat: 12pm – 11pm (last orders 10pm) 

Sun: 12pm – 6pm 

We are delighted to be able to host wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions for up to 15 people.

Covid-19 Latest Update

UPDATE AS OF 27.11.20;

Following on from the government’s recent announcement, we are due to open on 02.12.20 for staying leisure guests and for dining in line with tier 2 restrictions. We are following strict hygiene procedures and ask that you read through the details on this page to how we will be operating, for your safety and our staff safety.  

We have been working hard in the background to ensure all our staff are trained on Covid-19 hygiene and safety and completed the risk assessments for the business. Our Covid-19 secure certificate can be found here. All of our staff have taken additional training on Covid-19 practices with The Institute of Hospitality – an example of the staff training certificate can be found here. 

Enhanced Hygiene Programme

On top of our usual procedures, we have additional measures in place:

  • All staff have undertaken specific Covid-19 training from the Institute of Hospitality
  • All staff are trained on food safety, COSSH, HACCP and Allergen Awareness and are fully aware of the upgraded hygiene standards and usage of PPE
  • A handwashing station will be provided outside the hotel, everyone entering the hotel, must utilise this station before arrival
  • All indoor areas such as entrance lobbies, corridors, staircases and back offices are cleaned with a disinfectant, at least twice daily
  • For metallic surfaces/high use surfaces like door handles, security locks and keys, power switches an alcohol based sanitiser is used
  • Sanitisers are provided at regular intervals throughout the public areas for guests and staff to use
  • Extra checks and practices are in place to ensure the proper cleaning of food, tools and utensils
  • An Ozone generator machine will be used to sterilise bedrooms, before and after guest arrival and departure
  • An Ozone machine generator will be used in all public and back office areas overnight
  • All employee temperatures are checked prior to commencing a shift and have signed a fit to work document
  • Back office staff are working from home wherever possible and socially distanced when on site.

 

Face Coverings/Masks

As a guest you are required to wear a face covering/mask on arrival and when moving around the hotel, excluding those who are exempt for medical reasons.  All our staff will be wearing face coverings/masks, unless exempt.

Hotel Services

  • Online check in is available for all guests
  • All guests are required to complete a screening questionnaire prior to arrival
  • Housekeeping will be tailored to your requirements – for instance, it can be provided only on request, with fresh linens and towels left outside guestrooms, or our usual, full service.
  • Final bills will be emailed on your last night’s stay – allowing for any queries to be addressed by calling reception from your room
  • Keys may then be returned via the express check out drop box
  • Every guestroom is deep cleaned after each stay, while public areas and corridors will be sanitised twice daily
  • An Ozone generator machine will be used to sterilise bedrooms, before and after guest arrival and departure

 Dining Options

  • Breakfast – Breakfast shall be offered in your room. Please find the menu here. 
  • Inside Dining – Tables to dine inside the hotel are limited to support bubbles only. You are required to order a substantial meal in order for us to be able to serve your party alcohol.
  • Outside Dining – We are very excited to be able to offer five BRAND NEW Outdoor Pods for you to book and meet with family and friends, outside and in line with the tier 2 restrictions in place. Pods consist of a gazebo for a maximum of 6 people and will include heaters and blankets! You will receive table service throughout.

    Pre booking of our pods is essential. Pods are available to book in 2-hour slots and there is a minimum spend of £100 per pod. Upon booking your pod a £100 deposit shall be taken to begin your tab for your slot.
